📫 Email Deliverability & Integrations

SMTP & API Provider Setup Guide

Connect your own email delivery providers to send broadcast campaigns, trigger automated funnel sequences, and maintain 100% control over your sender reputation and domain deliverability.

1

Connecting Google Workspace & Gmail

⚠️
Google Daily Volume LimitsGmail imposes strict rolling 24-hour limits: 500 emails/day for personal @gmail.com accounts, and 2,000 emails/day for paid Google Workspace accounts. For mass marketing broadcasts to larger audiences, connect Amazon SES or Resend instead.

To send through Google's SMTP relay, Google requires an App Password rather than your primary account password.

Step-by-Step Google Setup:

  1. Visit your Google Account Security settings.
  2. Ensure 2-Step Verification is turned ON. (App Passwords cannot be generated without 2FA enabled).
  3. Search for "App Passwords" in the search bar or go directly to google.com/apppasswords.
  4. Enter app name: MANZA Email and click Create.
  5. Copy the generated 16-character code (without spaces) and paste it into MANZA.

Amazon SES (Simple Email Service) — Enterprise Scale

Amazon SES is the industry standard for high-volume email delivery at near-zero cost ($0.10 per 1,000 emails). To achieve 99%+ deliverability, complete the three following stages:

A. Request Production Access (Remove Sandbox)

New AWS accounts start in the SES Sandbox, which restricts sending only to verified test emails. To send to all subscribers:

  1. In AWS Console, open Amazon Simple Email Service.
  2. In the left menu, select Account Dashboard.
  3. Click "Request Production Access".
  4. Select Marketing & Transactional, describe how you collect opt-in leads (e.g. "Opt-in web forms on MANZA landing pages"), and state your bounce/complaint handling process. Approval usually takes 12–24 hours.

B. Domain Verification & DKIM (3x CNAMEs)

Under Identities → Create Identity, choose Domain and enter your root domain (e.g. yourbrand.com). AWS provides 3 Easy DKIM CNAME records. Copy all three into your DNS provider (e.g. GoDaddy, Namecheap, Route 53, or your registrar):

Type: CNAME | Name: [token]._domainkey.yourbrand.com | Value: [token].dkim.amazonses.com

C. Generate Dedicated IAM SMTP Credentials

  1. Go to SES Console → SMTP Settings.
  2. Click "Create SMTP Credentials". This creates an IAM user specifically for SMTP.
  3. Copy the generated SMTP Username and SMTP Password into MANZA.
